TRAINING COURSES AND WORKSHOPS

Amongst other things we are offering a workshop aimed exclusively to women going through menopause. This is such a disturbing time for many women when in fact it is a time of great empowerment, when we should take care of ourselves and embrace our wisdom. A time of celebration! Our workshop will be a joyful celebration of womanhood and sharing of wisdom , we can set ourselves free and become the great and powerful women that we really are. I’m sure everyone will have a contribution, sharing ideas, herbal remedies apparently sage is top of the list. This is a time when our children have “grown up” and we can really develop spiritually and psychically. We can open up, learn to drum, paint, write, tell stories, sing, whatever just having lots of fun and maybe the odd camp fire. We can cry, we can laugh , we can do anything we choose.

Accommodation and basic food can be provided – FUN you must bring yourselves. Please let us know so we can set a date when the sun shines.

Courses for 2007

Sekhem attunements Level 1 and 2 with Sekhem Master Suzannah Leigh.

These attunements will take place in the temple here at Tir na n'Og and numbers are strictly limited to a maximum of 8. Sekhem is a strong yet gentle celestial energy that raises our energetic frequency and accelerates personal growth and transformation. It is said that Sekhem was practised as a healing art in the ancient temples of Egypt and was taught by Priests and Priestesses of Atlantis. On Saturday morning there will be a guided meditation and discussions to prepare you for the attunements. The Sekhem Attunements will take place in the afternoon and are done on a 1-1 basis. There will also be a group attunement to The Violet Flame of St. Germaine which will take place on Sunday. At some stage during the weekend we will journey to re-connect to the energies of Atlantis. We are sure participants will wish for quiet space and rest after the Sekhem attunements and the meditation room and temple will be available for this purpose.

Witchcraft Emporium Residential courses in association with Tir na n’Og Glastonbury

All courses are taught by ‘WILLOW’ who runs Witchcraft Emporium along with her business partner ‘SARAH’. She has over 15 years experience within the craft and belonged to the STELLA MATUTINA coven set up in 1953 by ‘VICTA CORVO PENFOLD’ and is now part of a local coven, ‘RAVEN CIRCLE’ She has taught both in the UK and Spain in the Basque country. INTRODUCTION TO WITCHCRAFT

An intensive residential weekend course introducing newcomers to the basics of witchcraft.

  • This course to include,
  • History of witchcraft,
  • Explanation of the different conditions within witchcraft,
  • Wheel of the year,
  • Witches tools.
  • Working with the elements,
  • Relationship between the goddess and God,
  • Moon magic,
  • Herbs,
  • Incense making,
  • Circle casting.

At the end of the course, the student will know more about witchcraft and may, if desired take a simple rite of dedication to the path of their own choosing.

SPELL CRAFTING COURSE

An intensive residential weekend course aiming to teachthe basics of this ancient art and how to use it to enhance our lives and those of others.

  • The power of words.
  • Sympathetic magic.
  • Building energy.
  • Harnessing the power of the moon,

  • Ritual using spellcraft.

This is a ‘Hands on’ course enabling the student to experience the whole process of spell crafting through theory to practice. It is an introduction to the world of magic in its’ simplest and most creative form.

Residential week-end with Suzannah exploring the Tarot Cards

On this week-end we learn to develop intuition & heighten our sensitivity in order to become proficient in the art of Tarot reading. We all have the ability to tune in and the object of this training is to Awaken the Inner Voice of Intuition. All participants receive a Tarot Training Manual and CD to take home.

Bowmaking course + tipi accommodation. With Heath Dawson. Firefox Bushcraft invite you to craft your very own wonder of Neolithic technology, a working flat bow using local native timber and inspired by the 5,000 year old examples discovered, preserved in the Somerset peat. The Bows were unearthed only an arrow’s flight away from the Wildwood that we will be using as our camping base for the weekend.
 Learn about the history of archery, how to select native trees and craft them into bows that are both delightful to use and beautiful to the eye.
 Receive expert tuition on the use of Green woodworking hand tools
